Four new CNC machines installed at the Suzhou/China location
At the end of May 2016, four new CNC machines were installed at the Suzhou/China location.
The single-spindle machining centres bring great variability to component machining through long traversing paths of the linear axes. As a result, the ever-growing demands for production flexibility are also met.
The acceptance procedure was carried out in Taiwan in May. Once the machines had been commissioned in mid-June, the first product was a part that had been outsourced until that time. To be able to machine other products on the machines and meet the high quality requirements of our customers everywhere, colleagues from China had been trained at our Plauen site as early as April.
